Casella Waste Management comes through again.
These guys volunteered their trucks and crews to clean up after the Nor’icane. They just went into neighborhoods and started moving whatever debris anybody needed to move, no questions, no bills. We tried to cover it at the time, but they weren’t in it for the recognition, and their “Aw shucks, ‘twarn’t nothin'” approach meant we got a couple lines in after the fact.
We nailed ’em this time, though. Caught them in the act of being great neighbors and a civic-minded corporation. That’s a Casella truck hauling relief supplies up to Killington (and our AJ Marro in the background, capturing the action for the paper).
Thanks guys!
