Until recently, if you knew anybody from Rutland on LinkedIn, their profile would list “Glens Falls NY area” as their location, LinkedIn using a “Choose a button” format for locations and not having a closer option in its database.
So I’m glad to report (having recently updated my LinkedIn status) that the company has finally recognised the existence of Rutland as an option once you enter an 05701 zip code.
I no longer show that I’m coming from Glens Falls … not that there’s anything wrong with that … let’s put Rutland on the virtual map, folks.
