CCV open on West Street

The Community College of Vermont’s new Rutland campus is open at 60 West St. They moved over the Christmas break.

Their grand opening, ribbon cutting and open house for interested members of the public is Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. Expect more coverage from the official media after the college gets its press release out.

Congratulations to the college on their exciting new digs and to the construction crews working on the job for making their deadline. With a little landscaping / outdoor finishing at street level (warm weather work), it’s going to be a handsome addition to that corner. Now if only we can get Google Earth to update its photo …

Office hours are from 8-6 Monday to Thursday and from 8 to 4 on Fridays.
